Blade Steel: hand-forged antique file, tempered to a Rockwell 59-60 Construction: Partial Tang Dimensions: Blade 4 3/4" - Handle 4 3/8" - Overall 9 1/8" - Width 1 1/8" - Thickness 1/8" Handle: Aged deer leg bone secured with two (one under rawhide ferrule) solid copper pins. Sheath: Deer rawhide wrap over veg tan leather with welt. Buffalo hide fringe. Finish: Aged forged finish. Special Features: Filework on spine of blade. Rawhide and cord ferrule. This knife is stamped with my makers mark “NR” and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Great for re-enactors or collectors who crave tradition. Hand-made in the traditions of long ago.
