Hand-forged-knife. Frontier French Pistol Grip Hunter.

Blade Steel: L6 high carbon tool steel, tempered to a Rockwell 59-60

Construction: Full Tang

Dimensions: Blade 4 1/2" - Handle 4 3/4" - Overall 9 1/4" - Width 1 5/16" - Thickness 1/8"

Scales: Figured maple, secured with three iron pins and a rawhide/cord ferrule/bolster.

Sheath: Rawhide over 6-7 oz. veg tan leather with welt. decorated with a deerhide fringe and brass tacks.

Finish: Aged forge finish.

Special Features: Filework on spine of blade.

This knife is stamped with my makers mark “NR” and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Great for re-enactors or collectors who crave tradition. Hand-made in the traditions of long ago. Makes a great camp knife. Feels great in the hand. Very sharp.
