Period Hand-Forged Frontier Hunter Knife Blade Steel: 1095 high carbon steel,tempered to a Rockwell 59-60 Construction: Full tang Dimensions: Blade 3 1/8" - Handle 4" - Overall 7 5/8" including forged lanyard - Width 1 3/16" - Thickness: 1/8" Scales: Weathered maple. Secured with four iron pins, rawhide wrap and a cord ferrule. Sheath: Hand stitched. Rawhide wrap over 6-7oz. veg tan leather with welt. Deer hide fringe, cross and trade beads. Finish: Aged finish. Hammer and forge markings. Period correct. Special Features. Filework on spine of blade. Forged lanyard. This knife is stamped with my makers mark “NR” and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
