Hand-Forged, Frontier Hunter. Blade Steel: 1095 high carbon steel. Differentially tempered. Cutting edge tempered to Rc 59-60 Construction: Full tang. Dimensions: Blade 4 1/4" - Handle 4" - Overall 8 3/4" including lanyard - Width 1 1/4" - Thickness 1/8" Scales: weathered maple scales secured with four solid brass pins. Sheath: Hand stitched 6-7 oz. Veg tan leather with welt. Rawhide wrap. Decorated with a deerhide fringe, trade beads and copper cones. Finish: Aged finish. Period correct. Special Features: Forged lanyard. Filework on spine of blade. Knife has a rawhide and cord ferrule. This period style frontier hunter knife is stamped with my makers mark “NR” and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Great for re-enactors or collectors who crave tradition.
