Hand-Forged Frontier Clip Point Knife

Blade: L6 high carbon tool steel. Differentially tempered. Cutting edge tempered to Rc 59-60.

Construction: Full Tang.

Dimensions: Blade 4 5/8" - Handle 4 7/8" - Overall 10 1/8 "  - Width 1 3/8" - Thickness  1/8"

Scales: Curly Maple secured with four iron pins and a rawhide/cord bolster.

Sheath: Rawhide over 7-8 oz. Veg tan leather with welt, decorated with a deer hide fringe and brass tacks.

Finish: Forged finish.  Period correct.

Special Features. Filework on blade. Forged lanyard.

This handcrafted custom knife is stamped with my makers mark “NR” and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Great for re-enactors or collectors who crave tradition. Hand-made in the traditions of long ago. A nice hand-crafted frontier style knife. Very sharp.
