Blade Steel: L6 high carbon tool steel, tempered to a Rockwell 59-60 Construction: Hidden tang Dimensions: Blade 4 7/8" - Handle 4 1/4" - Overall 9 1/8" - Width 1 1/8" - Thickness 5/32" Grip: Deer leg bone, secured with three (two under rawhide wrap) solid copper pins. Sheath: Hand stitched 7-8 oz. Veg tan leather with welt. Slightly distressed. With linework. Finish: Period correct aged finish. Special Features: File work on spine of blade. Rawhide wrap and a cord ferrule. Hammer marks. This knife is stamped with my makers mark “NR” and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Hand-made in the traditions of long ago.
