Period Hand-Forged-Knife. Antler Belt Knife.

Blade: 1095 high carbon steel. Differentially tempered. Cutting edge tempered to Rc 59-60. Flat grind.

Construction: Partial Tang.

Dimensions: Blade 6 1/2" - Handle 5" - Overall 11 1/2" - Width 1 1/4" - Thickness 1/8"

Handle: Beautiful crown antler secured with two brass pins.

Sheath: Hand stitched 7-8 oz. Veg tan leather with welt.

Finish: Aged finish. Period correct.

Special Features. File work on blade. Knife and sheath lightly "antiqued".

This hand forged knife is stamped with my makers mark “NR” and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Great for re-enactors or collectors who crave tradition. Hand-made in the traditions of long ago.
