Period Style, Small Frontier Hunter. Blade Steel: 1095 high carbon steel, tempered to a Rockwell 59-60 Construction: Full Tang Dimensions: Blade 3 1/4" - Handle 3 5/8" - Overall 6 7/8" - Width 1 1/2" - Thickness 1/8" Scales/Grip: Curly maple, secured with two solid brass pins. Sheath: Hand stitched 7-8 oz. Veg tan leather with welt. Rawhide wrap. Beads, tin cones and a deer hide fringe. Finish: Aged finish with hammer and forge marks. Period correct. Special Features: Filework, frontier sheath, brass lined lanyard hole. This hand-forged-knife comes with a certificate of authenticity. A very nice reproduction frontier style knife that will take and keep a good edge. It has never been carried or used. Functional as well as beautiful. Great for many jobs around the camp or home.
