Custom Hand-forged Period Style French Pistol Grip Knife Blade Steel: 1095 high carbon steel, tempered to a Rockwell 59-60 Construction: Full Tang Dimensions: Blade 4 1/2" - Handle 4 1/2" - Overall 9" - Width 1 3/8" - Thickness 1/8" Scales: Beautiful, weathered maple scales, secured with three iron pins. Rawhide wrap with a cord ferrule. Sheath: Hand stitched 6-7 oz. Veg tan leather with a rawhide wrap. Decorated with an antler piece, trade beads, copper cones and handmade copper tacks. Finish: Primitive finish with hammer and forge marks. Special Feature: File worked blade. This knife is stamped with my makers mark “NR” and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
