K599 Bird and Trout Knife - Osage Orange.

Blade: L6 high carbon tool steel. Differentially tempered. Cutting edge tempered to Rc 59-60.

Construction: Full Tang.

Dimensions: Blade 4 1/4" - Handle 4 3/8" - Overall 8 5/8" - Width 7/8" - Thickness 3/32"

Scales: Osage Orange, secured with three brass pins.

Sheath: Handstitched 7-8 oz. Veg tan leather with a welt

Finish: Forge finish.

Special Features. Filework on blade. Brass lined lanyard hole.

This hand forged knife is stamped with my maker's mark “NR” and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Great for cleaning your fresh caught trout or to field dress that quail. Hand-made in the traditions of long ago. A nice hand-crafted knife for the hunter/fisher person. Very sharp.
